MuxLiq - The Intelligent Ambiental Sensors Concentrator

The MuxLiq is an intelligent and micromachined device designed to manage up to 8 sensors SmartLiq, operating as an intelligent hub liquid sensors. With its use, allows a reduction of up to 7 times the footage of the cables used in a conventional installation. Its rugged construction and small size allows it to be installed inside existing terminal boxes. It has side flaps that facilitates installation in walls. 

Each occupies a position of MuxLiq barrier SmartBox and can support eight (8) liquid sensors. Through local configuration can be defined the types of sensors to be monitored: Universal or Intelligent.

The MuxLiq can be installed in the existing terminal boxes on the track, that means it can also be used in hazardous areas. Preferably should be as close to the location of sensors in order to minimize the use of cables or directly next to the office of the Supervisor barriers. After connecting all cables, the equipment should be placed in a plastic bag and secured using the RSP sealant and then must be wrapped in additional cash.

Operation in Safety System

The MuxLiq can be accessed through the sidebar menu on the homepage of the S2 system. Once accessed, you can get the status of the device to determine if it is working.
